I AM the good Shepherd is one the popular statement the Jesus Christ made whiDle on earth to show the world is kindness and care for the lost world. Jesus Christ is the good shepherd. Jesus Christ declares that all who came before Him were thieves. Also, when He died, He brought other sheep that were in other folds to His fold.
This statement referred the inclusion of the Gentile. This is because, salvation was of the Jews not Gentile. So when Jesus Christ died, He included all human race into His sheep fold. This too has an implication on our worship of Him.
The bible declares that His sheep know His voice and hears His voice. They also follow Him. the shepherd of Jesus Christ, has a lot of benefits to Christians. Such benefits include: protection, provision, shelter and other things.
